211 Photography is located at 3275 W 32nd avenue, just a couple blocks from the heart of the historic Highlands Square in north Denver. The Highlands is full of fun specialty boutiques and unique restaurant’s. David received his Fine Arts Degree from the University of New Mexico where he also competed in Division One Gymnastics. After his gymnastics career it was then that he picked up his first camera. David’s style is full of color and laughter - two of his favorite things. |

211 loves the Nance Family. I always look forward to the holiday season because I get to see on of my favorite families. This year they had a new addition to the family. Since it was too cold out we moved their session into the studio. I wasn’t sure of the blue at first but I actually ended up liking it a lot.

So, Eddy and I have become slightly obsessed with our front parking lot planters that my brother Andy built. We started out this summer planting sweet potato vines and supertunias which literally became SUPER! These photos are even after we cut them back 3 times this summer, can you imagine what they would look like if we didn’t! They are amazing and although we are sad to see them go now that the fall season is here we replaced them with some pretty amazing things. I can’t wait for winter to hit so I have a reason to turn the store front into a white winter wonderland. Let’s hope for a long fall season this year because I proabably will never get tired of all the colors we have going on. Ginger Up

Well this little girl definetly makes my life more interesting everytime I get to see her. Ginger lives in our neighborhood here in the Highlands and has been through a lot already in her life. She was born breached and becuase of that her hips did not develop correctly. She has been in a full body cast and brace since she was born and only has a couple more weeks left in her brace before she is free! Her mom frequently stops into the studio and hangs out while we oodle and canoodle over Ginger. I get to see Ginger a lot in her first year since she is part of 211’s Immcaulate Collection. Senior season is wrapping up very quickly and Peter was one of my last high school seniors to photograph and let me to you it was a good way to go out. I photographed Peter’s sister Maddie a couple years ago for her high school senior photos. These two are the most articulate well put together young adults I have had the pleasure of working with. Peter grew up skate boarding at Civic Center Park so it was only appropriate to photograph him where he had so many great memories.

NotesI have been photographing this family for years and when little A’s big sister got a photo shoot all to herself when she turned 3 it was finally little A’s turn at her modeling debut. Let me tell you she danced, posed, and even threw a little attittude during our photo shoot. Her photo shoot remided me on how fun it was to be kid again.
